Use Config & Tools

  1. Here explains the config & tools tab.
    (1) Image Capture Timeout If the movies are stored in the slow device like CD-R or DVD, the timeout happens. In this case, the black image is created. Also, if you decode complicated video format like DivX, the system needs more time, and timeout will be happened.

In this case, you set longer timeout.
    (2) Number of Rows in One Page in the Movie Album   If you try to show many thumbnails of many movies, the lack of memory error is easy to happen. Especially Windows 98 or Me is easy to happen. The error is un-stable, and bizarre, most case, the blue screen is displayed.

In this case, you can lesson the value.
With Windows 2000 or XP, I never experience this problem. Maybe you can set this value 100.
    (3) Launch the Media Player in the Separate Window (not worked with WMP v9). If you play the movie in the separate window, the user reaction is quicker. So, it is good for slower PCs.
Note that this does not work at all with Windows Media Player Ver 9. Use less than Ver 9.
    (4) The special process window is displayed during capturing Good for anyone.
    (5) The movie files are searched recursively when a folder is dragged in. If this is checked, Dragging-in the folder will search all the subfolders and register all the found movies.
    (6) Play the next movie automatically when one movie is finished. Good for anyone.
    (7) Simple Data Comparison between files in two folder Drag in the folder into each text box. The system can compare all the files even in the subfolders of "from" text box with "to" text box. Not vice-versa. The comparison is simple method. 10 scattered bytes in the file is compared. This is useful to reconfirm that you burned the CD-R or DVD-R correctly.
    (8) The path string replace function. Once you captured the movie from CD-R on E:\ drive, when you want to play it, you need to insert the CD-R into E:\ drive. But sometimes you want to insert it into F:\ drive.

Now, here comes the function to replace a part of string.

If you set "E:\Mpeg" to "\\host1\Mpeg", you will view the network drive, even when you once registered the movie in local file. There are various way to use this method.

If this function is worked, the link back color becomes blue as follows.
