Georeferencing of raster images in plain AutoCAD.

GeoRefImg is a LISP utility which automatically repositions raster images used in a drawing to the position defined in the images' World files. World files define geo-position and other parameters of a raster image (TIF, CIT, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, ECW, SID...).

Usage

The GeoRefImg module contains several commands - as documented above. You can start them via the commandline.

Installation and Uninstallation

The installer that ran when you downloaded this plug-in from AutoCAD Exchange has already installed the plug-in. You may need to restart AutoCAD to activate the plug-in.

To uninstall this plug-in, simply rerun the installer by downloading it again from Exchange, and select the 'Uninstall' button, or you can uninstall it from 'Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features' (Windows 7) or Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP), just as you would uninstall any other application from your system. The panel on the Plug-ins tab will not be removed until AutoCAD is restarted.

Additional Information

• The rotation defined in the world file (rarely used) is applied only since GeoRefImg version 1.5
• GeoRefImg is not supported in AutoCAD Map and Civil (use Map's georeferencing instead)
• License: GEOREFIMG is a free utility by CAD Studio.
