Browser Proxy Configuration

Switch on the proxy of your browser and enter the protocol types HTTP and FTP the IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 8080.

Settings for the browser

Internet Explorer for Windows

Dial over dial-up network to the Internet.

Please open a second window with the Internet Explorer (File/New/Window) at first. So you can do the settings and read this documentation simultaneously. Alternatively print this page, please.

Menu bar

  • (1) Select Tools
  • (2) Select Internet Options...

Dialog Internet Options

  • (3) Select tab Connections

Category Dial-up settings

  • (4) Select Never dial a connection
  • (5) Select the used item myDialUp for your internet access

    If you don't use a dial-up then go to tab Advanced, point (15).
  • (6) then click on Settings...

Category Automatic configuration

  • (7) Disable Automatically detect settings
  • (8) Disable Use automatic configuration script

Category Proxy server

  • (9) Enable Use a proxy server for this connection
  • (10) Enable Bypass proxy server for local addresses
  • (11) and click on Advanced...

Category Servers

  • (12) For the protocols HTTP and FTP enter the IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 8080.

    Note
    If entries are already available here then you transfer these in the MM3-WebAssistant - Proxy Offline BrowserMM3-WebAssistant from Surf Set/Protocol/Proxy.
  • (13) Exit dialog Proxy Settings with OK
  • (14) Exit previous dialog myDialUp settings with OK

  • (15) Select tab Advanced

Category HTTP 1.1 settings

  • (16) Enable Use HTTP 1.1
  • (17) Enable Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections
  • (18) Exit dialog Internet Options with OK
