What does it do?

The TimeZone applet displays the time in whichever time zone you specify. By default the time is set to UTC (Coordinated Universal Time - also known as GMT), so you just need to add the offset to UTC/GMT that you want the time displayed for.
Time is displayed on a single line, can be displayed against a configurable background color, and can have a border (which can also be raised or indented in a 3D style). Font face, style, color and size can be specified.

For more information on UTC, check out wwwghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/utc.html.

Update - 9.23.00 : TimeZone applet can now be set to use 24 hour format or 12 hour (including AM and PM).
